Do activities with your children at home that promote early learning. Some activities that really help your early math is to have them count things that are red like cars or houses, at mealtime, give your child the plates after asking them to count the number of people who are going to eat then give them that number of plates to put at the table.'
When you go to the grocery store, ask your little one to point to everything that is yellow or red or orange, ask them to count any items that are the same that you are placing into the cart, or ask them how many items do they think you need of one item and ask them to count them out as you place them in the cart.
Helping your child to learn their number colors, shapes and letters is as easy as a trip to the grocery store or a walk around the neighborhood. You are your child's first teacher.
